As an I.B.O of the Quixtar Business and a consultant of Stamping-Up, I have concerns with the proposed trade regulation rule. The border to expose and or shut down bogus business schemes should not fall on the shoulders of honest direct selling companies. The proposal as it is written is unreasonable, and would create hardships to run any type of business in any industry. The dishonest companies already overlook the regulations to run a business many of the changes are burdensome, and infringe on individual privacy. To keep my interpretations of the proposal short I have used a few of the proposed regulations in an unrealistic job interview. Example: Someone gets a job with the Ford Motor Company, but they are told they have to wait seven days to start. Then they’re handed a paper with the name, addresses and phone numbers of ten random employees’. Then this perspective employee saying they would also like to see a list of all their laysyits and legal claims for the past ten years and some recent pay stubs of W-2’s. Thanks, maybe I’ll see you in seven days.
