We have been I.B.O.s since December, 2005. Our experiences in the business have been positive ones; the oppurtunity for personal growth and development, the people we have been able to associate with and the financial education we are receiving have been entirely beneficial. When we were being prospected for the business, we were given several opportunities to meet other I.B.O.s we felt then and now that there was enough useful information to go on. It was also made abundantly clear that this is not a get rich quick sceme. This information was told to us on each occasion that we heard a business plan. In addition, a low startup cost of $60 is returnable for a full 30 days. Any product purchased during sign up can be returned for up to 180 days, even after being opened and/or used. This seems to be more effective protection from buyers remorse than a seven day waiting period. We feel that the combination of a 7 day waiting period and a requirement for a litigation list is extremely detriimental to our business. Being presented with a laundry list of all litigation, meritorious or not, and then having to wait 7 days before getting to work on their business would destroy a prospects' enthusiasm, and provide 7 days for doubtsand negative input to move in. The litigation list would, in effect, be nothing more then ammunition for any naysayers to blow a prospect out of the water. In short we feel that we were given all the information we needed to make an educated decision in joining Teambuilders. We encourage the F.T.C. to work with the I.B.O.A.I in formulating regulations regarding this industry. We also feel that the good of the many should not be sacraficed to protect a limited few. Thank You Daniel Greer & Michelle Daniels I.B.O.s
