To, Federal Trade Commission/Office of the Secretary Washington DC 20580 . I am an IBO with Quixtar Opportunity for over 5 years now. I have reached the silver producer level and I am looking forward to achieving Financial independence through this business opportunity. This has provided, for me and my family, a vehicle to work hard and achieve the success we deserve. It has provided many intangible benefits like an opportunity to associate with wealthy entrepreuners and learn to lead a happy and successful life from them. It has taught us to be better individuals and develop a very helpful attitude like " WE WIN BY HELPING OTHERS WIN FIRST". I would request the authorities to NOT implement the "The requirement of a seven-day waiting period", atleast for companies like Quixtar which has a money back guarantee. Every time I show the business presentation, I leave an "SA-4400" with them. I also tell them that this is not a get rich quick scheme and it takes discipline and a strong work ethic. My prospects are completely informed at the point when I do the presentation. Having to wait 7 days will only hinder growth and excitement and will in no way help the prospect to either gather more information or make a quality decision. As adults, the prospects will themselves ask for extra waiting time if they feel they need more information, but this should not be made a rule for everyone. I would request the authorities to NOT implement the rule "The requirement to provide references". As IBOs we respect everyone's privacy. I personally have no information of other IBOs in my area. We maintain strong ethics and not interact with IBOs who are not in our upline or in our downline. It will be very difficult for us to gather personla information ot other IBOs. Other IBOs in my area may be very new in the business or may not even run their business ethically. If I give my prospect their details, when my prospect calls them to gather information, there is a good chance that they might say negative things about me and convince my prospect to join them instead of joining my team. Every sincere effort from my side will be wasted for no fault of mine if this rule will be implemented. Every prospect should take some risk to see if an opportunity is for them or not. Just to register as an IBO should not be made very difficult and such a tedious process. There will be a very good chance for cheating if this rule is implemented. I would like for the authorities to NOT implement "The requirement to provide a "litigation list" ".There can be many lawsuits for a very large companies. Many of them can be baseless. Untill proven guilty, the allegations are not true. This will only confuse the prospect more and will not give him a chance to follow his dream and have another income source. There might be many lawsuits on other companies like Microsoft or Walmart. No one ever provided me any litigation list when I shop from these companies. Please keep this fair and don't enforce this rule. It will only create confusion and bad feeling for prospects and also for IBOs. I would like the authorities to NOT implement "The requirement for financial substantiation" rule. Given the nature of the IBO business, income fluctuates every month based on the activity. This rule if implemented will allow IBOs to reveal sensitive and personal information. I would strongly oppose this rule, specially because, the prospect has an opportunity to make more money than the IBO registering him. By revealing personal financial information, the IBO feels awkward and the prospect will put a limitation on his ability by comparing himself to the IBOs potential. To have a level playing field, we should let the prospects decide their worth by doing what is necessary and not looking at what others have done. This business and the IBO team has provided a young couple like me and my wife to channelize our energy and work on our dreams. It has taught us to have values. Thanks!!
