Please reconsider this proposed rule change. As it is currently written, it would cripple - if not totally destroy - my business, and that of many other distributors throughout the USA. I applaude your efforts to protect us as citizens. However, this rule as proposed is not a good thing for you, us or them! To have a seven day waiting period is absurd. What is the reason for this? We are intelligent human beings. Please allow us that respect. If someone becomes a distributor with NSA, it's only $50. If they develop their business, that's wonderful, if not, they are eligible to buy their own product less retail sales product, thereby saving them money annually. I've been in the business for 5 years and have had 26 distributors I have worked with and never had one complaint. Some have stayed with the business, some have not. All have left respectfully, with honor and dignity. Please do not make this seem like a slimey occupation. It is not. As for the release of information on lawsuits - it seems to put an unfair burden on the company. What is the purpose of this? All one has to do is search any given company's name on the internet and they wil find whatever information they want on that company. Your intent may be good, but your proposed rule is under the purpose of protecting the public, however, it is overkill, too much and does not apply for our type of business. If you were buying a McDonalds's franchise, yes, perhaps that would be a good thing, however, casting the net so wide you have roped in the direct selling and you will kill us. You do not understand how we operate and that will be painful and detrimental to us and our livlihood. It seems so un-American to me that you would even consider this.. I have worked hard to build my small business. To work for myself. Please allow me the luxury to continue this business. Please allow me the luxury to share this opportunity with others. Please do not make this proposed change at this point in time as you have it outlined. It is wrong. It is un-American. It is everything we should not have. Please hear us. Respectfully, Paula Jandura (web site)
