I have become aware that the FTC is considering proposed rule making that would change the way all network marketers do business. While I am sure that there are a few unethical organizations out there marketing questionable products to uninformed customers, I suspect that you fail to realize that the vast majority of networker marketers are highly professional individuals providing quality products to informed individuals that actually want to buy them. Unethical individuals simply don’t survive in this environment. As a veteran of twenty some-odd years of government service, I know that it’s not the government way to do so, but I believe strongly that any rule making proposals should be aimed at identifying and punishing the few “bad apples”, rather than placing unnecessary restrictions on the group as a whole.
