I have been an IBO for 4 years now and have been very pleased and have always had a positive association with Quixtar. I have grown so much in my personal life and have had a positive impact on those around me and this is because of my involvement in the Quixtar business. I have always wanted an opportunity to do more and have more of a positive impact on others. And through this business opportunity, I have been able to do that. I do not currently have a family of my own, but this is the avenue to create additional income so that when the time does come, I am able to stay home and raise my family. In turn, my hope is to help others create additional income and give them opportunities that they may not have known existed. I understand that prospects need to be informed before they make decisions about starting a home based business and that you need to have standards and requirements to shut down bogus business scams. But some of the proposed rules will put limitations on Quixtar and could hinder the IBO business plan from its original intent. I would like to see a few things considered before any proposed rules are finalized. 1. Eliminate the waiting period at least for Quixtar where the prospect gets a 6-month, full money back guarantee if not satisfied. Before I was ever registered in the Quixtar Business, I was shown the full business plan and met several other people. This includes my sister and her husband. My sponsor’s answered all of my questions and gave me the time I needed to make a decision before I got started. This business is completely duplicatable and the same is done for new people when they get started. It is not about seeing how many people I can get “registered” it is about finding and developing people to become leaders and give them a chance to fulfill their dreams and to do more with their lives. 2. Eliminate the requirement to provide 10 references. This requirement would infringe on the privacy of every IBO whose name, address, and phone number was provided to prospects. There are plenty of Workshops, Seminars, or Open Meetings for a prospect to attend and meet others that are involved in the Quixtar Business. This way you are meeting face to face. I appreciate the guidelines that are in place to keep businesses on an equal playing field and the opportunity that it gives individuals to own a home based business. I expect that good businesses, such as Quixtar will continue to thrive and keep get-rich schemes away from innocent people who want to make a living and impact the lives of others.
