My wife and I have been Quixtar Independent Business Owners since September 1, 1999, and prior to that as Amway Distributors since August, 1986. We have achieved the level of Platium and have the goal of achieving the Diamond Level. This business has allowed my wife to be a full time Mom to our two young children and has allowed us to reduce and almost eliminate our credit card debt. We have helped others to do the same. At our time of registration, we were provided amble materials to read and research and paid less than $200.00 to register. We were also given a money back guarantee. We provide all IBO's that we register with the same information, opportunity, costs, and insure that they understand that this business requires work and effort for any monetary success. This is outlined in writing, on training materials, and told verbally. The average IBO in our organization spends approximately $160 to begin their business as an Independent Business Owner. In our 20 year association with the Alticor Corporation, we have never had a person being registered to spend more than $200.to get started. This new ruling would impact our business significantly. As an new IBO, we encourage and promote that they meet other members of the team and see first hand how the business operates. A seven day waiting period would virtually destroy our business growth. Our system already provides them with a money back guarantee. Please do not mix "all home based businesses" into the same bowl when making your decision. Legitimate businesses should be rewarded and recognized and not restricted because of unethical behavior of other businesses that operate illegally or unethically. Thank you for your time.
