I am concerned with the proposal to reqire 10 local referenes to people considering joining a business. I live 100 miles from my support team. I am as close as a phone call away. My support team did not know anyone in my area to give me references. It would also have infringed on their privacy to give me names and numbers. My support team would not have known the personal goals or work ethic of people involved in my area. They would not know the personal experience of these people or thier training. Views can be skewed by different events in a persons life, making the best business idea appear bad or the worst idea seem perferct. I did recieve the names and numbers of the people who would help me achieve my goals. Mysupport team is interested in my success because they do not profit in my failure. Another concern I have is disclosing specific incomes. Averages for active peole would seem right for a reference. Jobs that I have had would not even allow the discussion of individuals pay because you were paid according to how you worked. You would not think of an employer giving 10 references or pay scales of competative businesses to potential employees. Nor would you expect them to disclose all litigation against them both founded and unfounded. It should be a personal responsability to make sure a business is right for you. Thank you for reading my concerns, Tim Lemmon
