ch is necessary for their growth. Whether they decide to go ahead and build a successful business or not is their choice. The 7-day wait is not a healthy idea because it can cause the prospect to lose their initial excitement. It is their excitment that propels them forward and gets them off the ground. Having them wait only makes them more skeptical of the business and what it has to offer. It would not bebefit the prospect or new IBO for me to give them a list of prospects because it would be their friends and family, etc. that they should be interested in getting into their business, not mine. They would be meeting the business team, but their list is whom they would be working with the most. It would be fine to give my name and phone number to a prospect. I helps build belief that their are other people doing the business. They would meet the rest of the team at an open meeting, where they would see the business plan again and be able to make their own decision and also bring their own prospects to meet the business team. We have a general list of potential income -- prospects are advised that their income only matches their own efforts. We do not share our personal income with prospects because (1) it is unethical (2) their income will be different depending on their efforts. Would a government official publish his or her income sheet for others to view and initially base their life's decisions on those income figures?? It is appropriate to share the business's impact on our lifestyle with prospects. It's great to let them know our story and how much we and our children's lives have changed. The change is not just monetary, it is also an emotional change, a change of thinking about oneself and those around them. Their is additional learning that comes as we are strengthened through the "system" we have avilable to us. We become more positive about ourselves and others and it changes how we look at everything around us. We become more involved in things that affect us, even government matters that we can have a say in..The business has given us something that people are starting to really like, a sense of self-worth. Knowing we can leave behind a legacy and a business for our children is incredible. We have a large family, so it is important to us to spend time with them. Having a conventional business doesn't allow us the time or freedom to visit them as much as we would like. But with this one, it is making it possible to involve each one (10) of our children in their own business and we get to see and interact much more with each other. That is definately not something that the average wall-mart employee or grocery store clerk get the opportunity to partake of...We share our experience with the business with them, not to brag, but to help them see that their is so much more out there and that with this business they can achieve their dreams. We also let them know that we will match their efforts 1 for 1 in building their own successful business. People need to be informed about what is out their for them and that their is a way to get it. Placing a seven day waiting period on it is not a good idea at all, it just stiffles a persons personal and financial growth. The benefits of starting a business powered by Quixtar or Teambuilders are far greater than I can describe. Having children that are well adjusted and have a direction in their lives is well worth being informed up-front about the business and educated about it than not....Hearing my children quote someone like Lennon Ledbetter or Robert Kiosaki is so great. They have hero's that are successful business people with families just like ours, rather than moviestars, sports stars, etc. Which one would you rather your children have? Thank You, Maureen Law
