Dear FTC, I want to inform you how our direct selling business has impacted my whole family, meaning my wife and kids, plus extended family. This business opportunity with Quixtar doesn't make any promise, but it gives you and has given me the opportunity to be able to allow my wife to be at home and raise our kids herself by doing the work that is shown in the business plan that is shown to everyone. The principles that I have learned in owning my own business is greater than any dollar amount that I have the opportunity to make with my own work and efforts. For me to have to give a potential IBO other IBO's numbers will in my opinion be a violation of those IBO's privacy b/c many IBO's get involved in the business for different reason. Some want to build the opportunity and some just want to order products at a discount price. Also to disclose my monthly income wouldn't be honorable either b/c that is based on my efforts and they might not put forth the same effort. Also when a potential IBO sees the business plan we give them a folder with all of the information on Quixtar and their financial standing, an audio CD that gives a understanding of our industry and what we do, and a sheet that details the marketing plan that they can study on their own. Having a potential IBO wait for 7 days can drastically derail my whole business b/c with anything the more people think on something and get opinions of ones that are not developing this type of business are not allowing themselves to get all of the facts, but instead they will be getting opinions. In everything that exist there is positive and negative and the longer someone waits to get started from my 8 year experience of owning this type of business the majority of people will get the wrong advice from people who don't have the facts and get discouraged with just people's opinions. Also because of the supplemental income my wife and I have created it has made to where my kids have never had to see their mother work outside of the home and their ages are from 6 to 2 yrs of age. This allows my wife to be very involved in our son's daily activities at school, which the business affords for us to pay for him to attend private Christian school as well and for my wife to teach our other kids at home and give the nurture that she couldn't it she still had to work a regular job. The issue concerning showing all of the lawsuits against Quixtar would not be benefical b/c that would entail any lawsuit that people would file have to be shown and many lawsuits don't have any merit at all. Our business is purely explained to individuals as an opportunity and not a promise or guarantee, but we do let them know that we will help them develop the income that we and our mentors have develop if they are willing to be teachable, listen and willing to work. To sum everything up this Quixtar business opportunity has changed me and my whole family's life and not just this generation. It allows my wife to have a common goal and to build it together, instead of going separate ways with jobs. I hope that you really consider my experience with this opportunity before you act upon some of your recommendations conderations for our business opportunity industry. Thank you for allow us to post our comments. Keith
