To whom it may concern: As a QUIXTAR IBO I am very concerned about the proposed changes in the FTC rules that might effect our business. I have been an IBO for many years and the simple act of renewing, which must be done yearly, would state my satisfaction with the company and everything about the business and products. My husband, Gerald English, 'married into the business' and now both of our names are on the business. We have many goals that are long term and we completely understand the work that will be required to meet them, and in the meantime our monthly checks are in the direct proportion to the work we have done in the past and present! When showing the business plan we know we are required to show a document we call SA4400 which shows the numbers approved by the FTC. We also call it the 2 - 5 year plan which would say that this is not a 'get rich quick plan'. We also teach that starting costs range from $60 basic sign up fee, which is fine for someone who is already familiar with the business and the products, to about $200 that will include products to get them introduced to what they have available in their business. Everything is 100% money back guarented for 6 months. Because of the money back guareentee I think the proposed 7 day waiting period to be uneccasary. The prospect of giving out the names and other personal information about anyone in our business is outrageous! Total invasion of privacy! We have many IBO's in our business who prefer to just buy products and are not building a network. If they were repeatedly contacted they would: 1) be unable to give information about what it is like to BUILD A BUSINESS GROUP and 2) soon become irritated and probably drop out of our business. A LOSE / LOSE SITUATION ALL THE WAY AROUND! If someone wants to meet other people in the business, they will do so at training meetings that can be attended FREE OF CHARGE until they choose to become IBO's! We encourage people to check out the Better Business Buearu and thus providing a list of all litigation is unnecessary. The requirement for specific earnings disclosures is stated in the SA440 and is also shown on each of the pages of a flip chart that we use for showing the plan to someone on a one on one basis. When the presentation is done in a hotel, the speaker will always mention the form and encourage prospect to ask questions of their potential sponsors. Since we are NOT AN ILLEGAL PYRAMID, what one person makes has no relationship to what someone else can make. Wrapping this up, I can only state how very satisfied my husband and I are with our QUIXTAR business! We plan to renew again this year! Cindy Stanley QUIXTAR IBO AND PROUD OF IT!
