Dear Sir or Madame, I started in Tastefully Simple six years ago as a way to help provide extra little things for my family. I have worked hard and it is now an income that is counted on to pay bills. I have seen many team members start for the same reasons and they now rely on their income to help their families. I am concerned about the proposed Business Opportunity Rule R511993. I believe that in its present form, it could prevent me from successfully operating my business as a direct seller of Tastefully Simple products. I understand that your mission is to protect the public from unfair and deceptive acts or practices. However, some of the sections in the proposed rule will make it very difficult for me to sell Tastefully Simple products and help others start Tastefully Simple businesses of their own. I have always been honest and up front with all potential consultants on how much work is involved to meet their personal goals and expectations. Tastefully Simple has been very clear in their training on running our businesses in the most ethical manner. It is unfortunate that a small number of unscrupulous business owners may be allowed to ruin it for everyone that works hard and honestly. Thank you for your time.
