Rules and laws should be made to protect the innocent and prevent abuse. A law that would require me to provide the contacting information of 10 of my competitors who would gladly take my business from me would not be acceptable if I were a retail establishment. Why am I any different and being penalized for not having a store. I am a legitimate business owner. Direct sales has been a legitimate business venue for many years now. Of course there are abusers and the laws should be to prevent abuse and not add what I consider a heavy burden to legitimate businesses. Of what benefit is a 7 day waiting period to either my client or me? Especially when there is already a money back guarantee. The retail market does not have this burden. Us independent IBOs have generated billions of dollars in sales of products that are of high quality and there always has been at least a 6 month money back guarantee on most products. I feel this is a very legitimate way of doing business despite the fact that there are a lot of abusers in this type of business. I am 67 years old and have not seen anything else out there that has the type of integrity and personal training and income opportunity that this business provides. I believe that there are people who will surmount every obstacle (I consider myself one) but there are many who will be crippled by these new laws.
