I have been building my independent business powered by Quixtar.com for 7 years. We have recently achieved the platinum level in our business. We have worked very hard to achieve this level where our income is between $2000 and $3000 per month currently. My wife was able to leave her job as a school teacher and now has the opportunity to be a stay at home mom. That accomplishes our first main goal. We have made $1000-$2000 per month for around 3-4 years and made at least $300 per month since our 3rd full month in the business. Our expenses to start up a business are less than $200, almost all of which is refundable if the prospect decides to cancel or renigue. I hope the FTC will take into consideration the legal and ethical basis of this particular business model verses other "fly by night" or "get rich quick" schemes. I always explain to people that it is possible to build this business quickly (6-12 months) to accomplish what it has taken us 7 years to accomplish. I have seen and personally know people that have done it that fast. but i also explain that they will get out of it what they put into it and there is no guarantee of success and whether they will work hard. we have been taught to explain the entire marketing plan including the average numbers of incomes when we share the business opportunity with potential prospects. I hope you will differentiate between our business model which is built on long term, foundational business principles and other short-term, get rich quick schemes that hurt people and defraud them of their hard earned money. My business expenses don't exceed $200 per month and those are expenses I choose as an independent business owner to participate in. As I noted previously, our income from our business has been more than $200 since the 3rd full month we were involved. I don't apologize for a business vehicle that costs so little to get involved in, saves people time and money, and gives them an opportunity to succeed as great as they want with little to no overhead and expense. Thanks for your time. I know you have many questions and my wife and I trust you will use your best judgement to differentiate between the business models in this country that hurt consumers and those like ours that give people like me an opportunity to have a full time mommy for our 2 pre-school age children.
