I am using the Quixtar, Independent Business Opportunity, to build a better future for my family. As such, i fully believe the FTC should make every effort to create a level playing field for all prospective business owners by requiring clear, simple and standardized income disclosures that apply to all direct sellers and a reasonable cancellation policy should be enforced. It takes a lot of hard work to introduce a prospect to the business opportunity because of rampant fraudulent schemes which fosters skepticism on the whole so requiring a seven day waiting period before a prospect can register is extremely prohibitive to expanding a genuine business such as the Quixtar opportunity as experience shows that a seven day lapse results in waning interest as the loss of valuable time in introducing the prospect to the many positive benefits conflicts with their daily routine so the prospect never gets a chance to understand the true value of the opportunity. This prohibits the growth and potential to build a large, long term business.I also do not support the requirement of providing references, disclosure of past litigation and disclosure of financial records to prospects as this puts an extremely heavy burden on a person such as myself who is using a genuine opportunity provided by Quixtar to generate extra income with limited time and resources. I fully support the FTC's efforts to create a safe environment for the pursuit of business opportunities but at the same time any proposed regulations should not be so stringent as to deprive individuals such as myself from pursing my efforts to expand and introduce others to a genuine and positive business concept whereby they can help themselves and their families to have a better life. The Quixtar opportunity gives individuals the chance to make choices based on clear and readily available information as well as it affords any prospect the opportunity to readily meet and talk to many other independent business owners wherby all questions and concerns may be addressed.
