Name: Charles Larry & Ruth Ann Combites Quixtar IBO# RE: Business Opportunity Rule, 16 CFR Part 437 We have been Quixtar IBO’s (independent business owners) for six (6) years. During that time, we have been able to provide additional retirement income from this part-time business. With our busy lifestyle, we can fit this business model into our schedule. In addition, we have benefited from an excellent business development system, and have been mentored by a team of dedicated, positive and innovative people. When we registered, for the business, we were told that it was not a get-rich quick opportunity---it took work. We were also told that the percentage of people who achieved substantial financial reward is small---as it is in any other field of endeavor. We were promised the help, support and training from our sponsor and up-line and have received it. It has been our experience that since we have been a part of this organization, we have had wonderful training, support, counseling, and training from our up-line. When we sponsor other IBO’s, we provide them with the same information that we have received. The typical registration cost for a new IBO is $60, which is refunded if they decide to leave the business within the first 30 days. Specific Issues The requirement to provide references: We believe that requiring references violates the privacy of every IBO whose name, address, and phone number was provided to prospects. In addition, it would penalize the sponsor who would be required to give names and addresses of 10 other business owners to the prospect as any one of the business owners would be able to register our prospect. The requirement for specific earnings disclosures Every IBO is given the opportunity to print and read the Quixtar corporation business rules, and what the average IBO earns in a year prior to registration. The average earnings disclosure is printed on all of our prospecting brochures and literature
