To Whom it May Concern: I am writing in response to the proposed rule for Indenpendent Business Owners in Direct Selling businesses. My husband and I have been IBOs with the Quixtar Corporation for over a year and are developing a tremendous business and are grateful we were givin this opportunity. We are able to build our business on our own time and have enjoyed the intangible benefits as well. For example, the support materials have helped us grow as individuals, a couple and as business owners. The association with other ambitious business owners has been a true blessing to us. When we registered we were provided ample information to make an educated decision regarding business ownership. In turn, we give our prospects the same information. In addition, they are provided a money-back guarantee if they are not satisfied with this opportunity. New business owners pay less than $200.00 to begin their business and that includes a starter pack of products - fully guaranteed. Our prospects also understand that this is not a get rich quick scheme. We explain that it takes work to build a lucrative business. We and others on our team provide mentorship to new IBOs for as long as they need it, just as we are mentored by our upline. With this said, I don't believe the seven day waiting period is necessary since prospects get all the info they need and are provided a money-back guarantee. In addition, providing a list of other IBOs is not necessary since our prospects are asked to attend a business meeting where they are given the opportunity to meet several other business owners at different levels in the business. This is all part of the process of becoming an informed business owner. Please consider this input when making any changes. Sincerely, Doug and Jayne Pauley Pauley e-Commerce
