July 15, 2006 To: The Federal Trade Commission To Whom it may concern at the FTC: Dear Sir's/Madam's I am writing this letter to you with concern over the up-coming bill regarding the Home Based Business Opportunity. For the last five years, I have not been able to go to a job outside of my home due to my condition of Rheumatoid Arthritis. Besides not being able to work and contribute to my medical bills, there wasn't an Insurance Company that would insure me either, therefore my medical bills were extremely expensive and we had to pay for the entire $1,250.00 monthly for my prescriptions, out of pocket. This was very taxing on us for a total of eight months before I was able to get into a High Risk Ins. plan, through our home state of Wisconsin. Approximately May 5, 2005 I was introduced to a company that told me I could start my own Home Based Business, irregardless of my health situation. Because I had such a good response to the supplement, I shared the product with many of my friends, and in the last year alone have been able to turn a profit, since being able to pay for many of the medical bills. This makes me feel very good that I am contributing, and makes me feel very worthwhile because I am earning a living and pulling my share of the load at our home. My organization has many couples and individuals that are also being helped with small amounts of extra income, and they are very pleased they are able to make extra income in this day of high fuel prices and living costs. I do understand, however, that the FTC does have to do what is right, and therefore I am personally asking you to take a close look at this bill, and realize what it could do for all concerned people who make a living from home. I appreciate your time and consideration to this important matter and thank you very much. Respectfully, Mary Portmann Independent XanGo Distributor
