July 14, 2006 Federal Trade Commission 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington DC 20580 Re: Business Opportunity Rule, R511993 Dear Sir or Madam: I am writing this letter as the proposed Business Opportunity Rule R511993 has raised some concerns regarding my business with XanGo as an Independent Distributor. As presented, I feel it could disrupt and ultimately destroy my small business. I have been in XanGo for just over one year and both my husband and I have benefited greatly from the juice, hence, my wanting to share this wonderful product with others. Once I realized I could earn some extra money while sharing the product, I have been diligently trying to start my XanGo business. My husband is retired and I am looking at retirement within the next year or two and the XanGo business will certainly help us maintain a somewhat stable lifestyle. Some of the proposed sections would make it difficult, perhaps impossible for me to work my XanGo business. Regarding the proposed rule requiring the disclosure of a minimum of ten prior purchasers nearest to the prospective purchaser has me somewhat scared due to the possibility of Identity theft. This could jeopardize my safety and welfare as well as that of all involved parties. It is an honor and a privilege to be an American. Please help me and every other outstanding individual of our great Nation and do not destroy what many of us have worked so hard to accomplish. Thank you for your attention in this matter. Regards, Martha C. Boyd
