To Whom it May Concern: I am sending a letter in regards to the Business Opportunity Rule. As a person who is in the direct selling industry full time and very much depends on this income to support my family, am in disagreement with the proposed rule as it stands. I personally have never misrepresented the business as this would not benefit my team. I do not stand to gain by misleading potential recruits. My business thrives and is based on integrity, trust from my team members, and doing my best to help a recruit build their own team. I can appreciate the FTC looking to protect recruits. A dishonest recruiter does not help anybody in the direct selling business. However the proposal as it stands will only alarm potenial team members and cause them to not trust me as their manager without just cause. People join our types of businesses all the time. Some businesses prosper and some do not, as in with any small business owner. So please reconsider the proposal, and consider those of us running an honest business making an honest living. Thanks
