Dear Sir or Madam, My husband and I have been involved in Quixtar for 2 years. I was looking for a business opportunity and was attending a different event. I stopped and spoke with a woman outside of a meeting and inquired about what meeting was going on in the room. I sat in on an information session at that hotel in Naperville. I was impressed with the professional way the speaker presented the business. She was very upfront about letting the guests know that no one is taking your money tonight. This is strictly infomative so that you can decide if you have an interest in what has been presented. I exchanged phone numbers with the woman I had met outside the room. She informed me to give her a call if I wanted to set an appointment. The couple came to our home and we were interested. They told us not to join until we had met with them a couple more times and we understood how the business worked. My experience with Quixtar is that the people are professional and are willing to provide any and all information that a person would need to make an informed decision. I would find it difficult to be required to have a 7 day waiting period before someone could register. It's one thing if it is an option but it is a decision that can be made before 7 days. You know after reviewing materials whether this is something you want to invest your time in. An Eight Step program is written out and explained. If this is what you feel you can commit to, then this may be an option for you. Without the committment to work the business, that person is a customer if they want to use products. When we present the information to a person, we are sitting down with them one-on-one at their home or a neutral place like a restaurant. Once the information is presented, we inform the person about the next meeting where they can meet other IBOs and get a feel for the quality of the people who are involved. There is always a place where a person can meet others who are involved. The benefit that my husband and I have experienced are new positive relationships with others who have been in the business longer and with new people whom we have shared the business with and are now our friends. My husband and I have a more positive relationship with each other because of the emotional growth we have experienced that is necessary to be able to work with people. We have better people skills now than two years ago. Our marriage has benefited because of the people we have met and how effective their mentoring has been for us. We welcome this business in our life and we applaud the FTC for wanting business opportunities to share information with prospects so they can make an informed choice. That is the right thing to do.Sincerely,Sharon
