Dear Members of the FTC, My husband and I have been small business owners since our marriage 37 yrs. ago. This freedom has helped develop great work ethics in ourselves as well as our three children, who are now grown , responsible citizens . If we are required to have a 7 day waiting period before bringing in anyone else to our business, this restriction will cause our business to be overburdened with red tape. We work hard, are honest, pay our taxes, and represent the majority of home businesses in the USA. I also have a natural fruit juice business. I am dependant on people helping me to get this product to the consumers as quickly as is possible. Delays and time restraints are only going to make a hardship on effectiveness of this small business operation. Small Home business is an invaluable tool to keep American economy strong and viable for the future of America. Maine is one of the states that has a majority of small business people depending on the present freedom from red tape and restrictions to help us survive in our time restrictive environment. Lets find a more effective way to ,root out the fraud, without tying the hands of those in America who are the honest , hard working , tax paying, true Patriots. Please let the small business man remain free of the encumbances of red tape. Thank you for listening and please keep the businesses that are not Franchises free from the restrictions that would do more harm than good, knowing that those who are honest would be handicapped severly without cause. Thank you, sincerely, Polly Prout, Ind. XanGo ( tm) Representative
