I feel that the government's ruling is going to create dead opportunities for those who wish to do the work and earn the fair income associated with the IBOs of Teambuilders and others connected to the commerce of Quixtar. 1. Disclosure of income. Teambuilder/Quixtar has in place the disclosure of the average incomes of all that use Quixtar and it is noted both on registration and the website as well as spoken to the prospect in person. My personal income is not required to assure the prospect his success. My income is personal, and I am not required to disclose it others when I have applied to work for other complanies. Why start with IBOs. Most may not be able to figure out if it is a good or bad statistic for them or if it helps them make a rational descision on that basis. 2. Disclosure of liability or litigations. Every company making a living for others or who deals with the public have litigations against it. Those companies are functioning with pride and never have to public disclose their litigations. If one wants to research this information - the Better Business Bureau is always available to inform. The internet has an abundance of information, and a lot of it false information or off the mark. Don't separate the IBOs out for focusing on the negative that everyone must live with, and ignor the all the more positive that does happen! 3. Reference Lists. How do we provide reference lists of 10 or more from the same area when we are starting new in an area? This is unrealistic! We already provide the ample opportunity for new IBOs to meet with fellow IBOs of their team. 4. 7 day waiting period.Part of the excitement of the business is the OPPORTUNITY to grow your business with momentum! Not all will master that opportunity but will have the hope to do so. Hope is not the same as the assurance of something promised. 7 day waiting period will bog down our businesses for no real good reason, and expose potential prospects to the advice of others who have very little knowledge in the area of entrepenuership and being an IBO, thus who will safe guard the IBO from false/wrong advice to grow our business? Quixtar/Teambuilders rules require us to disclose that the average IBO make about $150 a month. We know that if prospects don't realise that it will take HARD and consistent work -- they will disgruntle and leave -- which has a negative effect on the moral of other new IBOs. So to avoid that we tell them what is hard, difficult and that it will take THEIR determination to make some success in this business. However, we do tell them that there is a reward of personal development for the minimal cost of the teaching tools. We do have a time period in which all new IBOs can ask for their money back for teaching tools, products, or membership if at that time they are not wanting to do the business. The investment is nominal and won't rob them of their LIFE savings. Membership to website, tools, and initial product == approximately $300. All of which is refundable. I would be responsible for the tools and Quixtar the membership and product refunds. No questions asked and quick and easy returns and refunds. No problems. Quite fair. My income should remain private unless I give permission every time -- freely, not at the government rulings. I have not been incredibly successful in making lots of money here. But I have not done the work it requires. It is a challenge and it is for those who desire to ACHIEVE! I have gotten my money's worth in mentorship, and personal development. It have been a benefit to me -- even in my 8 to 5 job. Integrity is always taught to be an asset to this business. From top to bottom, integrity should guard our own business, not the government! Those who commit fraud don't follow rules anyway, why should they start now? Just because the government slows entrepenural opportunities to snails pace, the fraudulent will keep doing what they do, without moneyback gaurentees. HEARUS
