RE: Business Opportunity Rule R511993 7-Day wait - Most prospects want to start right away. Honest companies offer buy-back policies to protect them. Also, people who travel would be hampered in making contact after 7 days. Dishonest persons will find a way to get around this or just ignore it. Providing a list of 10 of the nearest purchasers to all prospects will override the purchaser's privacy protection. It will also be a bookkeeping burden on the honest distributors/companies. As will keeping track of all purchaser's and the number of cancellations be another bookkeeping burden. These rules are geared to protect prospects from fraudulent distributors/companies. But the fraudulent ones are the very ones who would likely send in fraudulent information, while the burden of correct information will fall on the honest ones. Please reconsider dropping this rule, or at least changing it to target the fraudulent distributors/companies.
