As happens so often, government agencies trying to protect the public is akin to killing a gnat with a sledgehammer. This is one of those inappropriate reactions. The Commission needs to postpone any action on this bill until input from the heads of legitimate direct marketing companies are given the opportunity to educate you. Aside from serious Constitutional issues regarding privacy it also could destroy the livlihoods of millions of legitimate entreuprenuers.
