I am an Independant Distributor for Market America. I opened this business as a 2nd income/retirement plan. The requirements this bill proposes are overwhelming. I would want any Business Partner I brought into this business to make a fully informed choice, otherwise why bring them into the business, but these requirements are too much. It would add so much paperwork and time to an already busy work day. If I decided to end my distributorship I certainly would not want my name and contact information given out to prospective business owners for any reason. With some of the information required changing daily or weekly, this information would need to be updated constantly. Please be realistic when putting this bill together. Any person wanting to become a business owner should do their homework before investing their time or money and information should be available, but the requirements suggested in this bill would overwhelm and burden most to the point of choosing not to enter the Direct Sales industry. I don't know if I could keep up with this requirement and if I couldn't, I would have to close my business. I certainly don't think your intent is to make being in business so difficult that people opt out. Please think of what the average person running a small home-based business could do before passing a bill. Thank you.
