I have been a Quixtar business owner for the past 2 years. As an IBO in this business I have been able to work a teaching position as well as this business. I plan to do this business after I retire and increase my income. When registering for the business I was informed that this business was run on "sweat equity" Your success will come only if you work for it. I teach my team members the same thing. There are no surprises, everything is explained and materials are given when they register. Meetings are scheduled for follow ups to help guide them in their new business endeavors. Mentoring is carefully done so that so that duplication is the same and fewer mistakes are made on their road to success. Weekly meetings are continued with team members and mentors together and teaching continues for everyone so that we all are on the same page. Like any personally owned business time, teaching duplication is necessary for success. If the people registered are not happy and do not feel like they are being successful, they are not "stuck", but they can get their money back and not be trapped like some businesses. I feel like it has been a good investment for me. I have definately learned great business concepts and rubbed shoulders with some of the best businessmen and women around. I am very proud of that. I hope that the FTC does not interfere with my success in this endeavor to be an independent business owner. It is our freedom to do this. I am being fair to my prospects by informing them and they get proper information and guidance from people that are my mentors as well that are experienced. So we are in business for our selves, but not by ourselves. The complaint of not sharing what our income is with people who are interested, i think that is very unnecessary as it just depends on how much your willing to work and who you get into your business and who is willing to work with you. The compensation plan is exposed to them so they can get an idea of how much can be made only if they work for it. They have to make a market for themselves and get out there and talk to people. this is the most exciting business and most professional business that I have ever been involved in Sincerely, Marjorie Smith
