My husband and I have been independent business owners in the Quixtar system for approximately ten years. During this time we have made minor profits and experienced significant personal growth in a very positive way. At no time was this business ever misrepresented to us, and we have followed the same pattern in presenting this opportunity to others. The Quixtar website has provided a successful business opportunity for many years, and we have found this opportunity to be based on sound integrity. The founders of this business established fair rules of conduct years ago with the Amway Corporation which is now known as Access Business Group. We have found that the people who lack integrity in this business are those who cannot lead their business groups in a positive way, and thus have no success. Those who lead with integrity have the opportunity to develop a sound business based on free enterprise principals. We have found that the media has damaged our business in many ways by distorting who and what we represent, and we feel that a waiting period would create further distortions in the area of suspicion where none is real. We welcome your investigation of pyramid schemes which are not based on sound principles of free enterprise, but such an investigation was provided on this business long ago, and it became quite evident that this particular business has a sound and lasting effect upon our economy. We ask that you not reinvent that wheel. We ask in all fairness that you interview and investigate the top leaders and founders of this business instead of relying on the comments of those who are bitter because of lack of persistence and consequently have failed without doing the work....the work of working on and improving ourselves first. Seek information from the DeVoss and Van Andel families, the Storms, the Yagers, the Hullenders, the Griffins, CL Foster...and it goes on and on...people of lasting integrity. If you persist in setting down new rules which dampen enthsiasm and motivation, the Quixtar business will most likely suffer a blow from which none of us will ever be able to rebound, and the American economy with suffer right along with us. We urge you to investigate and think carefully before acting.
