Comments:
While in the Navy, I looked around at different business opportunities so that after finishing my second tour of duty I could pursue the american dream. The American Way(AMWAY)corp. was one of the direct sales business' that contributed to teaching personal development, public speaking, presentation skills, and a positive business model. Having been in business 12 years, I appreciate FTC's consumer protection priorities, but this particular rule unfairly targets legitimate direct selling businesses. People who are not following the rules of sound business ethics will continue to do so. But for the rest of us the Seven-day waiting preiod, the elimination of the $500 business threshold, the Litigation Reporting, the Earnings claims, and References will just add to our business liabilty and open up the existing sales people open for ID theft. There has to be another way. sincerely, Mr. and Mrs. Rene' and Marcia Pruneau
