To Whom It May Concern: Regarding the FTC proposed Business Opportunity Rule, R511993: I am all for making business opportunities honest and open and weeding out the ones that are fraudulant. But, please when you've developed this new rule in its final language please don't make it impossible for the honest direct selling market companies. In the past I have sold Avon, Pampered Chef and now am a distributor of XanGo. Have I gotten rich off any of them? No. But, the opportunity is there for me to be able to make extra money for my family needs. Especially with the cost of everything going up besides gasoline. The direct selling market gives me a flexible schedule to be able to work a second job. These companies that I have worked for have been very helpful getting me off to a good start and are continually there for assistance. These types of small business opportunities make it a level playing field for all of us, regardless of our color, handicap, education, marital status, whether you have children or not and stature. Everyone has an opportunity to succeed in the direct selling market based on each individual's own work. Please don't add additional burdens that are not necessary. I thank you for the opportunity to comment and your consideration on this matter. Respectfully, Robin Beckwith
