My wife and I have started our business in the year 1989. We were 19 years of age at the time, no money, no support , in college and confused about our future. When we saw the business opportunity it was our way out of dept and to build a great family life. We did not have a lot of money and our sponsors and upline went out of thier way to help us. Driving us to meeting, giving us product to sample to understatnd our product line. We used their homes for meetings and product fairs since we did not have our own home as yet. Now, living in NYC this is unheard of. We as the prospect I thought had to qualify for these IBOs business, because of the time and effort they were willing to invest in helping us to get our business off the ground. They did all of this not knowing if we would continue on as partners with and again we had the freedom to do so at anytime. I do understant and respect the FTC for trying to make sure individuals like myself and my wife are not taken advantage of in business, but in the Quixtar business an IBO does not benefit untill he helps the prospected new IBO make money. So as IBO looking to work with new prospect I would hope that they qualify and are trust worthy. The other rule about wiating seven days to register does not make sense in our business because the prospect goes through a qualifying process even before they sign up which may take a week and in some cases longer. Delaying the process will surely kill the excitment for a prospect who is ready to go after all the information process we put them through. We always educate our prospect because we are building this business for th e long run not to make a quick buck. If a person feels like he or she is being taken advantage of they will never build the business. I respect the FTC for all the regulations that protect business owners like us and is very greatful for the opportunity. We work very hard for what we have accomplished. So far our lives and those of others are being changed everday. This is the greatest country in the world and the opportunity to own and opperate our own business, now in our own homes is one of the things that makes this country so great. So please understand. If you see what we deal with on a daily, building our business you would understand. Some of which we have to let prospects understand that our business is a not a scheme and addressing negatives from info the recieved off the internet. Thanks for reading. Joel & Sherilyn Ross
