Dear, FTC I would like very much to voice my comment concerning the Business Opportunity Rule R511993 on the Direct Selling Industry. First of all I would like to thank you for trying to protect the citizens of the United States from fraudulent business practices. The seven day waiting period rule however would be extremely devastating to this industry. Other industries can hire people one day and have them working the next. It is unfair for our industry to have this waiting period when others don't.When a legitimate industry is moving at a 100 miles an hour, it is unreasonable to force it to go at 10 miles an hour.It is time and speed that is valuable to this industry and especially when we get pay weekly. I have been hurt by many mail order chain letters and other get rich quick fraudulent businesses, but my Xango business is for real. A business of my own have been the dream of me and my wife for years. Our greatest pain in this attempt was when we started a store in a Mall. We invested thousands of dollars and were given many assurance of success. We were told stories of the neighbor store great successes. It wasn't but eight months later the neighbor store went under and we followed next. The rent alone was a crime and the business traffic was not there to cover it. We had a unique product in the Mall but the rent ate our profits. We left that store $ 30.000 in debt and Iam still struggling to pay it off. Just as I took a risk at starting that business; today many are taking a risk in starting a Direct Selling business, and Ladies and Gentlemen I will respectfully say that it is not in the thousands of dollars. My opportunity was only $35.00. This legitimate business opportunity is my real chance in getting out of debt. Please reconsider all the new rules and give us a chance to build our own business. Thank you, Miguel Gonzalez Xango Distributor
