The U. S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has proposed a new "Trade Regulation Rule on Business Opportunities." This proposed rule would affect all Quixtar Independent Business Owners, along with every other direct seller doing business in the U.S. I have been involved with Quixtar since 1982. Our business is a family business and we have always disclosed every aspect of becomming a Quixtar independent business owner. While we understand that there are many fradulant business oportunities out there and the FTC needs to protect the public, the Quixtar opportunity has always been forthcomming with business building information. The FTC put there stamp of approval on our buisness way back in the 70's Please do not lump the Quixtar opportunity in with all the other fradualent business's that take advantage of the publics trust. There needs to be an exclusion in the proposal to allow us to continue our business without government intervention.
