I am a Amway/Quixtar Distrubutor since 1992 have reached the Platinum Level in 1996, and Ruby level in 1999. Love the morals of this bus. It is also the fairest business because no one can get rich just because you get in. You have to work at this bus to get wealthy and the best thing about that you need have your sponsor there to help you and guide you to the top. Success is built by helping others become successful. As for the the ruling about waiting a 7 day period in my opinion serves no purpose. Because members can get their money back if they so choose too. What good will imposing a 7 day waiting period serve? As far as offering referral letters. Referral letters will be a big negative for our industry and make it nearly impossible to sponsor people. 1rst off, where would you get the list of people in your area? 2- Privacy. Some people do not want others to know where they live. 3. The people that you are asking for a referal are your competetors. Do you think that your competetor is going to write something nice about you, or even take the time to write a letter that will not benefit them? That is like me owning a Ford Dealership and saying hey before you buy a Ford Mustang go to the Chevy dealer and ask him how awesome are Fords. Do you think that the Chevy dealer is going to write something nice about Fords when he is sellilng Chevy? No business does that, if they did they would not be in business. 3. Requiring to give a finacial statement. Again about the privacy act. I have been burned with identity theft at least 4 times and am very sensitive to that. I also work in the Human Resources department and finacial data about a person is sacred. Would you feel comfortable about someone looking at your financials? Now I understand the reason for this and you should have some re-course about false alegations about how much a person makes in this business. You should require everyone to a generic document about the average income active business owner makes and have them define what a average business owner is rather than point at a single individual. Because really that is what people really want to know. When they ask this question they want to know what are their chances of making it. Not how much are you making?
