Dear Commissioners; I am descended from Revolutionary War veterans who fought onerous taxes, laws meant to restrain trade, etc. The bill proposed does just that. It taxes the time of the direct marketer, by making potential customers have a waiting period. My product is not a firearm! This bill definitely qualifies as restraint of trade. We are not selling expensive cars; this sounds like a lemon law. This bill is egregious and not consistent with the Constitution of the United States. Please don't take away my opportunity to help people by my parttime sale of XanGo juice and recruitment of XanGo distributors. The parttime nature of my business would be severely damaged by your new law, as the 7-day waiting period would interfere with the time that I have to devote to this venture. Drinking of the patented mangosteen juice took away chronic pain that I had for over 2 years and enabled me to cancel a surgery for the problem. I sell the juice to people who need help with similar inflammatory problems, as well as other problems that I learned about since taking the product, but I do that as I come in casual contact with these people. The waiting period, references, etc. would kill the spontaneity of what I do, and my very style. Sincerely, Laurel L. Lemarie
