To whom it may concern; We have been Independent Business Owners with the Quixtar business since September of 1999. During that time we have expanded our business as well as helping others build their businesses. When we registered, we were fully informed as to what time and money would be involved, both by our sponsors and by the excellent educational materials supplied bythe business and available to all IBO's. We also were told that this is not a (get-rich-quick) scheme, but a valuable business that requires both time and hard work. We continue to inform everyone to whom we present the business plan. There is no guarantee of sucess. The matters of disclosing our income and of providing a list of references, I feel are a great invasion of privacy, both to us and any others that we may name. We feel that the guidelines set forth by Quixtar are sufficient evidence of possible income. We don't feel it's fair to other IBO'sto give them as references as this would increase their burden of work in an alredy work intensive business. The seven-day waiting peroid would drastically slow the momentum of building a business and would there fore discourage, uneccessarily, a person new to the businessan (raring to go). The "litigation list" seems to unduly hamper our ability to build our businesses. Since we are Independent Business Owners, we would not want our business judged on what some misguided person several states away has done in trying to build his business. Thank you for consideration of this information. Curtiss And Julie Quist
