This proposed rule change is unfair and could hamper the earning potential of fair, honest and hard working individuals who use direct sales as a primary or secondary income to make ends meet as gas prices and cost of living continues to rise beyond the average means of most citizens. Why risk the potential of increasing the number of unemployed and welfare recipients by passing this rule? It does not make good business sense to do so. If it is not broken - why try to fix it? I have a college education and have been a practicing RN for 20 years. I use direct sales to raise my income level to meet my cost of living expenses because I do not get paid near enough for my knowledge or expertise. The income from my direct sales business pays for my continued education and the primary education for my chldren; who someday will be well educated, productive, tax paying citizens. Where would this country be if not for the entrepreneurs of our previous generations? Please don't change a thing but be thankful for the opportunity for lower and middle class citizens to use direct sales to pay their taxes and bills. Respectfully, Lauren Brutscher, RN
