I am writing to express strong opposition to the proposed Business Opportunity rule R511993. A confusing and burdensome section is the seven-day waiting period to enroll a new member @ $19.95 when they wish to become a member to order products at a discount. Most of my new members only wish to be a member, if at a later date they want to become a distributor (like myself) they don't pay any additional cost, they just supply the Shaklee Corporation with a Social Security Number. Ninty-nine percent of my members never become a Distributor. This rule puts a real hardship on myself and any new member, I am a Senior Citizen supplementing my Social Security and most of my members are Seniors. I have used the Shaklee products for years and became a Distritutor to work from home and add a little income to retirement. One thing we don't need is more regulations and speed bumps to do business in America. Thank you for considering my comments. Sincerely, John Satterthwaite
