Dear FTC members, I am extremely concerned with your proposed rule for business opportunities. I am a housewife needing to make extra income. I believe that the new rule will totally destroy my chances of growing my business. The proposed requirements are enormous, I don't think I will be able to do all that will be required, it will make my business extremely complicated. I don't think that other types of businesses have been required to do any of the new proposed requirements, why are you singling out our direct selling industry. Are you trying to eliminate the little guy? Are you just in favor of the big companies and against the small home based businesses. We are just trying to make an honest living working from home, why burden us with all these requirements? We are not con-men or fraudulent persons. Why don't you let us work instead of just complicate our lives. This proposed ruling will heart the national economy. You will force many people out of business. Please do not aprove that new rule. Let us work in peace. Our prospects can check our companies out by themselves, we are not forcing anybody to sign and our company has a 30 days cancellation warranty, no questions asked. Is'n that more than enough? None of the businesses I have ever bought anything from have had to disclose to me any of the things you want us to disclose, if they had been forced to do it, many would be out of business. Please do not fix something that is not broken. Sincerely, Elia Ray
