I and my wife are engineers are using the Quixtar opportunity to help us develop an additional source of income. We are pretty new to the business and look this opportunity as a way to develop secure income in our life. We would like to appreciate and thank you for doing the work to protect an average person like us from frivolous claims made by some not so sincere opportunity manufacturers. However, please get your facts in place and segregate the “get rich scheme” kind of businesses from the businesses like Quixtar that are based on ethics. The proposed rules should apply ONLY to the businesses other than Quixtar. The ethics and the sincerity with which Quixtar and BWW have created the culture, we have always been led and we have always led others to think long term and not use this business as a "get rich quick" scheme. I challenge all the so called rule makers to go and check out the Quixtar business plan. Most of the concerns will disappear, I promise. WE HAVE SOME SERIOUS RESERVATION ABOUT the "proposed 7-day waiting period": -- If my sponsor had not met me the next day after he showed us the opportunity, I would have lost my initial enthusiasm because of my routine and would've never given the priority to start the business. -- We always and always let prospects know that this is a minimum of 2-5 year effort to make reasonable returns. We let them understand during our presentation that all credible and sustainable businesses are never built quickly. We also specifically talk about the kind of effort it takes such as how many people and clients to discuss the business & products with every month, how to educate and train yourself to develop the skills required. --- Many people in our business including us have developed a good expectation and motivation in the first few months because of the ability to sponsor and bring some of the friends and family into the business quickly. If we had to wait 7 days for everyone sponsored to have them further sponsor people, they would have never taken off (developed the initial expectation) and would've lost their focus. Today because of their initial success that kept their focus, they are now benefiting hugely. THE PROPSED RULE FOR "The requirement to provide references": --Provide reference to prospects of people who are already in referral based business looking for referrals to further their businesses ---Only you could think of it???? -- We believe this requirement definitely creates a huge possibility of someone else using our prospects to influence them to be in their business. -- Secondly it increases our work load tremendously because our name will be given by large number of Business Owners to their prospects. -- We already show the opportunity to prospects in Opportunity meetings in Hotels where huge numbers of existing business owners are present and available to talk to. THE PROPOSED RULE about "Financial Substantiation": ---How could you even think of this? What kind of “genius” people have you working for you? If you want to be fair, treat all businesses equally and go back at-least 100 years and force this ruling on all the businesses that started from year 1906 onwards. This ruling would have denied any business to grow and be what they are today, and we all would be working for govt. like you and to justify productivity keep on writing rules and screwing up existing businesses. --- As a father of a child, my lack of education (if it was...) should not be a reason for my child NOT to become a scholar --- It creates a catch 22 situation because everyone wants to deal with only "already successful" people or companies. If that is the case then no new person or business will ever become successful -- To force Business owners to reveal their current income is making prospects think in terms of working with only "already successful" people and is is violation of my privacy
