To whom it may concern, I am a hard working stay at home mom who is trying to balance a life that lets me have time for my family and work in a productive and fullfilling job. I run my business honestly and ethically. I love to share what I do because it has truly made many dreams come true for myself and my family. I feel these new restrictions will hinder others from joining and making their dreams a reality....biggest dream....having a job that allows you to be home with the family...and contribute to your financial needs. This will place additonal burdens on running my business.....which I do not feel are necessary. I have yet to run into anybody in direct selling who is out to get someone through dishonest practices. I am sure they are out there....but very few and far between and not to the extent that we need all the changes this act would bring with it. This is a system that is not broken....so does not need any fixing so to speak. I hope you do not pass these changes. It will only hinder people who are working hard to make ends meet in an already competitive and financially crazy world where the cost of living continues to rise and burden the average american family. Are there not other things in this world that we need to focus on other than this? Please do not pass these changes. I love what I do and how I do it. It works perfectly for almost everyone....I do not want to see the life style I have tried so hard to make for my family become out of reach once again if you pass these changes. I am not talking a lavish lifestyle either.....I am talking, a trip to Disney, an extra session of gymnastics for my daughter, a coat of paint on my house...all things I could not have done without Lia Sophia....as small as they may seem to you. This could really have severe consequences and hard working average American people trying to do better for themselves and their families. Please do not pass this.
