I am writing this letter because I am concerned about the proposed Business Opportunity Rule R511993. I believe that in its presented form, it could prevent me from continuing as a Distributor with NetWorthUSA and destroy my small business. I am a college graduate that got involved in the Network Marketing industry 7 years ago. Needless to say, I no longer work for someone else and run my own home based business. This type of ruling could do more harm than good and create more uncertainty about this industry than is needed. I represent a very ethical and Legimate Company and I don't understand why this industry would have harsher regulations than those people that talk customers into hasty decisions on late night infomercials. What do you think a 7 day waiting period would do to that business...? I understand that there are companies that are not so ethical, however, this ruling would not do much good to stop that, instead it is going to hurt those of us that are in legimate business for ourselves.
