I am a newly registered IBO with Quixtar through the Pam and Larry Winters organization. I have reviewed the FTC proposal and see many things that would contradict certain privacies given to all Americans in the Patriot Act. First, with out due consent, I believe, and could be wrong, but I believe that it is illegal, if not wrong, for any business to disclose personal contact information of anyone. Second, if we must present all lawsuits against Quixtar or ibo's we should only need to present lawsuits that were lost, thus protecting our business from false accusations. Also, in the short time that I have been with Quixtar I have found that many of my new prospects wish to get registered and started the very same day. This is not a get rich quick scheme by any means, but it is a way for any person no matter what background to get rich quicker or get rich at all. The government should want all of its citizens to have equal oppourtunities at wealth and prosperity just like a parent would for a child. I have never seen any other business where the playing grounds are more fair. If there is one, please show it to me. I have found that an illegal pyramid scheme is defined as "In pyramids, commissions are based on the number of distributors recruited" (http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/alerts/pyrdalrt.htm), the way that our business works is we are paid based on the movement of volume, where as in an organization like prepaid legal services, commisions are paid when someone is recruited. As long as certain parts of this propasal are removed, you have my support as well as the support, I'm sure, of the people in my organization. When devloping this propsal MLM supporters, succesfull businessmen not involved with an MLM should be consulted, thus giving the outside opinion of a successful business man, such as, Robert Kiyosaki.
