I have been a business owner for about 10 years. In looking at the proposed plan on restricting business in attempts to protect people, I am shocked that this is even being considered. I do want illegal schemes shut down more than anyone else out there, because they make it more difficult for those of us with legitimate business. We are in the business of helping people, not taking them to cleaners, or giving them wrong or misleading information. We tell them straight up that this is not a "get rich quick scheme and it takes effort" "you will get paid in direct proportion to the work at time that you put in" There are so many benefits to our business as well as financial. I have seen lives turned from bad to good..numerous times. I have seen parents be GOOD parents because of their involvement in our industry. Kids are our future...we should invest in them. Giving a list of litigations...is upsurd...does any other business have to do that for every customer that walks in? A list of other business partners....we always make sure that they get to meet many of them...it makes no sense to give out personal information to prospects...what about my privacy?! Having to show my income...well....does anyone show ytheir to potential clients? That invades my privacy. There are better ways to shut down illegal operations without punishing those of us who are legitimate business'. How about actually shutting them down quicker so they have less time to do so much damage? What about a website that potential business lookers can check to see if the business they are looking at is legitimate or not. Let people do their own research...they need to take some responsiblity in investigating until they feel comfortable with their decision. How about hire people to become business owners in business...and see first hand what they are teaching and doing...what a great way to see the reality within a business. The proposed plan would severely hinder my business. I am not doing anything illegal, immoral, unethical...unless sincerely helping people falls into that category. I verbally give people the reality of what it takes to build income...it is then their choice to participate at whatever level they choose. I care for each of them whatever they choose...I am only here to help...not condemn or take advantage of in any way. Obviously commerce is changing with the internet. And people need to be aware that their are many people out there ready to take any one to the cleaners that they can. That is common sense for sure. Why burden everyone with legitimate business' because some people don't have enough common sense to thoroughly investigate before making a decision? Find a solution to take out the bad guys without hurting us good guys! PLEASE!!! Our business is our purpose in life. It is our vehicle to reach many people in a positive way and to help them financially as well as teach them to be good leaders in their families and communities. We help people get their dreams no matter what size they are. It is what America was built on...freedom. It's about respect, love and making a difference one life at a time. We love helping people. We are honest and sincere.
