I am a 71 year old woman, a distributor with Xango for 2 years to supplement my income. I also faithfully use my product. This is a perfect business for home bound or the elderly. We are able to share with family and friends to earn extra money without having a job. We are able to help each other, with support from the company. I appreciate the FTC's mission to protect the consumer, however, it seems to be over kill, it only costs $35 to join my company, but the$500 provision imposes rules that will be a burden for me. Such as collecting so much data that isn't easily available to me. I would have to dig to provide 10 nearest sales people, and doesn't that breech their privacy? Earnings claims will be difficult to verify, and again,it is a privacy issue. I know there are scams out there, but I have noticed that most don't last very long. Most people have realized they need to investigate before buying. It seems to me, companies that require large purchases are the ones who need to be controlled. Direct selling is the purest form of business, and available to everyone for a small investment. It should not be presented in a negative way.
