First, thank you for working hard to protect legitimate businesses by separating them from the "schemes" that always lead to dissapointment. I'm concerned that the FTC may be interested in requiring businesses to list all lawsuits against them to those who are interested in joining a business idea. In America, we are innocent until proved guilty. Anybody can sue anybody or entity. This does not mean guilt on behelf of the accused party. This is a misatake and is near-sighted on the part of the FTC. Secondly, any business that intends to remain in business gives all clients, customers and individuals interested in being a part of their organization, a guarantee. To insist that there be a waiting period does not protect any individual. This only slows business growth without benefiting the new business partners. The solution is NOT to force people to wait for seven days, it's that any new prospect is allowed to reverse their decision, not delay it. Any business worth their salt already does this. Please consider this opinion. Best, Richard Eddings
