The new regulations do appear to offer protection, but why would these be necessary for an organization that's been around for 10 years? And, if some of this information is necessary, then why can't the FTC provide a web site that discloses this info--make the companies provide the web site location to the perspective new members. There can be many more efficient approaches than the new proposals. You would also be creating a opportunity/threat to US business by sending these companies to other countries -- which everyone can, of couse, access over the internet. Why make America the land of the complicated regulations?
