My Wife and I Have been IBO's building this business since QUIXTAR provided us with the opportunity in late 1999. From 1992 thru 1999 we built this business using the Amway model. We believe that reasonable guidlines should be in place to protect people who may be seeking a business opportunity. We were provided enough information by our sponsor to make an informed decision as we do for others to this day. Information we provide states very clearly that our business is not a get rich quick scheme, it takes time and hard work to succeed. IBO's that we register into the business spend approximately $114 which includes a variety of products for their use. If they choose to register without the product pack the cost is approximately $65 depending on taxes. All money is refundable by QUIXTAR or myself . Products are subject to a refund policy for any unused products. The proposed Seven day waiting period to register new IBO's would not serve any good purpose since we provide ample business information up front in the initial interview, in most caes we already conduct a second interview (follow-up) with in 48 hours to ensure all information is understood. We are interested in talking only to prospects that are ready and willing to work to build a successful business. We often drive across country to interview prospects, if the seven-day waiting period were required, two travel periods or a lenghty stay would be required for each prospect. Fuel and lodgeing cost would be prohibitive. Providing a list of local IBO,s would in some cases not be possible due to a lack of IBO,s in the area. Giving a list of names and contact information would violate personal privacy if people were calling to get business information. I would not appreciate someone calling me at various hours with questions. Open business opportunity meetings are scheduled at public location several times each month where interested people can find information on how the business works. Providing a list of litigation involving IBO's or QUIXTAR with or without merit would be difficult at best, the average IBO does not have access to such information. For the most part that type of information would not be creditable in this business. Prospects are provided with average income estimates via the standard form (sa4400) Describing personal income from this business would not be useful in that each individual has different movitating factors for being an IBO and income is based on personal goals and needs. Each business owner determines their own income level. This business opportunity coupled with the work we each personally decide to expend will yeild the desired income.
