To Whom it May Concern, I am a school teacher here in San Francisco, California. I made a decision to start my own home buisness in order to augment my income. After many months of researching various companies, I decided to become a Xango Independent distributor. I have just started to develop my buisness, and the Buisness Opportunity Rule would be devasting to my new enterprise. The 7 day period would inconvenience and chill enthusiastic people anxious to participate in the Xango buisness. Having to provide a list of nearest references would greatly evoke confidentiality and privacy concerns further discouraging new prospective distributors from joining which thus inhibits the growth of my buisness. In regards to providing the the earnings claim statement, a fraudulent company will not provide accurate data while a legimate company such as Xango would have legitimate difficulty in doing so. Lastly, many times people have very short term buisness objectives for joining Xango, and once those objectives are met they leave. Having to provide information regarding cancellations and refunds would greatly mislead prospective distributors and or consumers. I suggest that perhaps a list of legimate Multi marketing organizations need to be provided by the Commission which will overide all of these mandatory rules and regulations. This will benefit companies like Xango and protect prospective consumers/distributors from fraudulent companies. I also suggest that our legal department of Xango as well as our executives help in assisting the commission in creating regulations that would both protect our citizens from exploitive companies and would at the same time benefit companies like Xango whose sole purpose is to assist excited people like myself to venture out and create a solid legimate growing buisness.
