Dear Sir, I am concerned about the new Business Opportunity Rule R511993 . . I work my 'Xango' business along with my mom, and my sister and we are trying to build a good home based business and a 2nd income - esp. as my Mom is a 'senior citizen' and needs the income. For myself, I love the product (mangosteen juice) as I can see what it is doing for my back pain. I have been a distributor with Xango for a little over two years time. Some of the sections in the new rulings would make it difficult or almost impossible for me to work my 'Xango' business. I can not understand the 7 day 'wait' rule. I don't have to 'wait' 7 days when I buy parts for my car ?? And, I have always been a good, honest businessman and now this makes me look like a 'crook' to people I do business with. And, upon reading more about these rulings. . doesn't that open up the possibility of IDENTITY THEFT?? I strongly oppose these rulings . . . and hope that you reconsider. When the government is suppose to be trying to help young people like myself to be independent and have a home-based business . . . why would the FTC make it more difficult? I just don't understand what is going on here. Something just doesn't seem 'right' to me . . . Who would really benefit from all these 'new' rules?? Certainly not the honest distributors in honest companies!! Why would the FTC put earning a 2nd income from home in jeopardy for so many wonderful, honest, hard-working distributors?? Sincerely, Mike Parriott/Calif.
